I wish was the wind,
Or perhaps the sea.
Not trapped in this
Human body.

I want to be free
From the thin outline
Of the shadow
That follows me.

Short poems seem to be the theme for spring break, so I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Open to plenty of suggestion and expansion though!

    I agree with Caroline, it's beutiful! It's a contrast to what we're told about humans being "superior" in our world, when really we hardly make a difference in the world as a whole. I can't think of anyway to improve it, it's fantastic!
